The qualification does not have any entry requirements. However, PAGE Institute requires applicant’s to be employed in the hospitality industry at the time of application.

The course will be delivered in your workplace using combination of Face to Face Training and Recognition of Prior Learning.
RPL is an assessment process that involves assessment of an individual’s relevant prior learning (including formal, informal and non-formal learning) to determine the credit outcomes of an individual application for credit.
RPL involves issuing organisations undertaking an assessment of each individual who applies to determine the extent to which that individual’s previous learning is equivalent to the learning outcomes of the components of the destination qualification. Find out more here.
Since the course is subsidised by the Queensland government, you are only required to pay a small co-contribution fee.
PAGE Institute charges: $1/Unit (Non-concessional); 50cents/Unit (Concessional).
Total unit of competency in this course: 21
The course delivery depends on your skills and experience in the hospitality industry. After your application, PAGE Institute assessor conducts an initial interview with you over the phone to get details about your past experience and discuss your roles and responsibilities in your current employment. Upon initial assessment of your skills and experience if the assessor determines that there is a scope to RPL some units then total duration of your course will be shorter. The remainder of the units will be completed via Face to Face training method in the workplace.
